Previous: Activation of existing control
This section introduces the runtime architecture of the proposed
solution. After a brief overview of the components, the measurement
interface is described.
The runtime architecture is depicted in
figure
. Essentially it consists of a
- possibly distributed - instrumented application, a measurement
agent per process (called a measurement correlator), instrumented
libraries of the execution environment as well as management agents
and management applications.
