5.5.2 Delegation
Metapolicies in this category govern the delegation and other
organisational aspects related to policies and the supporting
processes. Table shows example metapolicies being part
of the delegation metapolicy classification:

- The first metapolicy clarifies who has the power to allow changes of
a policy. This may be necessary if the creator is responsible for a
policy created by himself. Only the creator having the power to authorise
changes ensures that he must be aware of changes and that he can take
appropriate steps (e.g. not authorise the change, when he does not
take the responsibility for that change).
- In the second metapolicy, constraints about the review process are
specified. This information is considered when reviewing policies.
The specification of the review process in its entirety is not made
up by metapolicies, but information governing it definitely is.
- The third metapolicy specifies a general principle saying that
transfer of workload does not include the transfer of the
responsibility.
